Can I purchase crypto with an EU bank account from the Axon app?
Yes, through the Axon app you can purchase crypto coins directly with your bank account. Before being able to do so, follow the steps of How to connect a bank account to my Axon account?. Also, you need to have successfully passed the KYC verification.
How to purchase crypto with a bank account from the Axon app (EU users)?
Once you’ve successfully passed the KYC verification, to make a purchase of crypto using your bank account, please follow these steps:
Add a bank account. For the steps of linking your bank account to Axon, please review the following article - How to connect a bank account to my Axon account?
Tap on the arrows button in the middle of the footer menu or navigate to the Dashboard section and select the Buy Crypto option
Choose the coin you'd wish to purchase along with the amount
Below the purchase pair you'll see Pay via, where you can choose the bank account with which you'd like to pay
On the next screen you will see the exact quote of the transaction
When the quote is accepted, you'll be transferred to your banking app to authorise the payment
What fees will be associated with the purchase?
Avalanche's network fee will be deducted from the selected purchase amount. Axon charges from 0.2% fee.
For any other fees applied to your purchase, please contact your bank.
Will I be able to withdraw the coins after the purchase?
Any crypto purchase made with a bank account will enforce a clearing period on the USD value of the purchase. During this period you will be able to swap and use the coins towards receiving interest, the only restricted actions are using the tokens as collateral or transferring them to another wallet. To which wallet are the tokens going to be credited?
All crypto tokens purchased via fiat currency are credited to your Trading wallet.
